EDU360 Integrated Education

Written by
EDU360 Integrated Education

EDU360 opened its doors in 2016 to students with a range of neurodiverse and complex presentations – welcoming higher functioning students into our college pathways, and lower functioning students into our schooling pathways.

Two passionate and committed specialist teachers, Justin Barry and Jacqui McKelvey, responded to numerous requests made by parents at the time, attempting to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students requiring specialist tuition in a totally unique, nurturing environment. Justin and Jacqui saw a significant need in the remedial environment in 2014 and to this day, relish working tirelessly to realising their dream of providing quality educational experiences to students who learn differently.

The EDU360 team provides the appropriate range of support in response to the real learning needs of each respective student. We have pathways geared for high (and higher) functioning students and students capable of more than their current performance indicates, with the right support. We have pathways providing skills-based curriculum for students with moderate to low (and lower) functioning profiles.

Jacqui and Justin designed EDU360 with the ‘child in the middle’ in mind and does not profess to be a solution for all. Children whom parents, therapists and teachers recognise are often sufficiently smart and capable in everyday scenarios and ironically, may also appear to be aimless or lost-without-good-reason in specific social and/or academic scenarios. It is this niche, the ‘children-in-the-middle', that EDU360 purposefully supports children often overlooked and progressed through the education system, moving from classroom-to-classroom and school to school, without meaningful progression and without educational security for their parents, and their respective futures.
